Athion is building a system to modernize complex engineering workflows by making real-time design and collaboration possible for organizations and people within the value chains for capital projects. It does this by ingesting information from technical documentation that is stored in PDFs, translating that information, and delivering it on a web interface through which different people working on a project can collaborate simultaneously.

Real-time collaboration makes it easier for teams involved in delivering industrial projects to avoid costly mistakes, to increase project visibility and improve decision-making amongst all stakeholders in the manufacturing value chain, and to manage change more effectively as capital projects projects progress towards completion.

Once a capital project is complete, Athion becomes part of the operating system plant operators rely on for running the plant on a go-forward basis.
