L'ATTITUDE VENTURES team member, Anastasia M., attended the Latina Disruptors Breakfast, supported by L'ATTITUDE VENTURES and Morgan Stanley. She wrote a small piece about her intake from the event:
"The ‘Celebrating Latina Disruptors’ event hosted by Sandra Campos and Cate Luzio was a profoundly meaningful experience. I had the privilege of listening to the remarkable stories of seven exceptional Latinas. They did not solely focus on their business but emphasized on the importance of embracing their Latino heritage.
These founders represented a rich tapestry of Mexican, Colombian, Cuban, Puerto Rican, and Dominican cultures. Through personal anecdotes, they shared their journeys from learning about their families' profound histories to adapting to life in the United States to finding inspiration within their family roots to start a business. What left a lasting impression on me was the central message conveyed by these Latina entrepreneurs: that their superpower, both in life and in business, is deeply rooted in their Latina heritage.
These women demonstrated that one's power and resilience need not be derived from formal education, social status, or technical skills. Instead, their strength can be sourced from within, a result of embracing their heritage. It's a powerful reminder that our cultural roots are a wellspring of strength and inspiration, shaping our path in profound ways."
